Tattooing has an origin story like no other with over 5300 years of evolved practice worldwide. What started as Ötzi the iceman’s debatable therapeutic treatments became so much more; an expression or representation which highlights the importance of its meaning to the wearer.
Whether the Tattoo relates to a particular life style, religion, culture, remembrance, artistic preference or otherwise. Every one of us can look at a Tattoo, understanding the artworks significance to the person and the talents displayed to make it possible.
Skills which were passed down, refined, taught with patience, precision of the utmost care and attention. A love for the process and clients alike. A bond like no other established over years of practice.
This genuine, loyal, mentality has been challenged in more recent times. However, I still aim to produce quality over quantity as I love the process just as much as the final outcome.

Over a decade in the making I continued to pursue details from Illustration into Tattooing. When my degree didn’t lead me to opportunities I made my own, when lockdown restricted me I taught myself (on my own skin) and when the opportunity came to learn from a talented mentor I seized it. For years I Tattooed in my favourite black and grey Fineline and Realism styles before daring to do something different where I could apply the same dedication and care,

Introducing Spot Varnish to Tattooed Customs, this subtle yet eye catching effect comes to life when the light hits it just right. Drawing attention to unique focal points throughout the piece with a slightly different feel.
Colour
I love black and grey tattoo’s, however on occasion they aren’t always the most applicable. When working with a variety of different existing colour ways I’m happy to apply my black and grey techniques to colour in order to make any design pop.

UV pigments
Tattooing in UV pigments illuminates designs where otherwise they would disappear in complete darkness. Consistently standing out regardless of the lighting which surrounds them, these unique touches benefit from situations others fail to adapt to.
