Making realism
Bringing one of my favourite styles of Tattooing to Trainers, I merged life like portraits with gothic architecture to create something truly surreal. Each subject flowing seamlessly into the next complimenting the original shape of the shoe itself. Where Tattoos flow along the body, this composition flows along the Trainers.
I have always had a passion for depicting even the tiniest of details and this opportunity allowed me to bring inspiration from both Illustration and Tattooing, blending them together to create something never seen before.
Only later did I realise what impact these foundations would lead me to build onto.
Surreal
Archways into columns, lighting into frames, rose windows into portraits. Shade after shade, subject to subject, line into line, all drawn out by hand using nothing more than a black fineliner pen.
